This painting is a clash of some of my favorite elements. Here, plant life is evolving into something greater, something with eyes. While the plant can observe, it still remains rooted in place. The eyes reflect the neutral nature of plant life observing the world passing by. Watercolor on 9 x 12" Arches cold-press paper.
