Root-in-Rock Bonsai Original Watercolor

A tribute to an ancient art form, the Bonsai Series seeks to interpret classic bonsai styles into the Deep Urth universe.
 
To create the root-in-rock style bonsai, the bonsai artist sometimes uses plastic film wrap to hold the roots against the rock while creating pressure, encouraging their growth downward.  In nature, however, our tree friends have a magical way of establishing themselves in hostile places.
